When repacking or storing, keep the loops separate from the "arms" and fold next to the "body" of the hammock. String up your hammock between any 2 solid points (including fence posts, trees, garage, house, 4" x 4" x 8'' post, etc. using heavy duty screw hooks and / or high test marine nylon rope (for larger distances). A gentle curve with the center about 2''-0" - 2''-6" above the ground is ideal. For indoor applications, be sure the hooks are inserted directly into the wall or ceiling studs.

How high do I need to hang my hammock? The recommended distance from the ground for placement of the tree hook is between 4 and 5 feet. If your supports are closer than the recommended distance, the tree hooks should be raised. You will first need to determine where you would like to hang your hammock. You may want to use two trees, posts, or even hang it on a porch. You need to make sure that the space that you decide to use is 18" greater than the overall length of your hammock. The wooden surface that you decide to use should be atleast 6" in diameter, and suitable enough to support the hammock.

Avoid wearing footwear and beware of buttons, zippers, buckles and any sharp protruding object which may snag or break the individual strings. Coarse fabric like denim jeans is a little tough, so be careful not to shift around with all your weight in one place. Entering Your Hammock: Center yourself with your back facing the hammock. Grasp 1/3 - 1/2 of the far side of the hammock so the center is exposed and flat. With the other hand, hold the closer portion firmly and sit down gently in the center while holding the backside up behind you. Lie back until the hammock is taut and your back is well supported. Lift your legs and bend your knees, then place your feet on the edge of the hammock. Stretch out and enjoy.
